William J. Murphy
William J. Murphy age 49 of Barrington passed away suddenly on January 17, 2023 after suffering from a heart attack. Murph was born in Camden on March 10, 1973 and was formerly of Moorestown before moving to Barrington. Murph dearly loved his twin daughters, golfing with Brooke and eating prime rib with Samantha. Murph was most comfortable wearing his hoodie and his UGG slippers. He was an avid Phillies, Seattle Seahawks and Michigan fan. His one favorite saying was "Everything can be fixed" and he could figure out how to fix anything. "Go Big or Stay Home" is something else he would always say and definitely lived by. Most importantly, he had a strong work ethic and was willing to help anyone. He was truly loved by everyone he came in contact with. Murph was a devoted and adored father and husband, and so looking forward to celebrating his 50th birthday in Hawaii with his family.
The family requests everyone attending the services is encouraged to wear Phillies, Seahawks or Michigan gear.
Murph was the beloved husband of 13 years to Melissa (nee Davis), loving father of twin daughters Brooke "his pal" and Samantha "his monkey", his dog of 14 years, Blue "Bubba" who was his side kick and Glow who he tolerated, but secretly adored. Murph was also survived by many other family members and good friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Murph's viewing and visitation with his family on Sunday January 22nd 3 - 6 pm and Monday January 23rd 9 - 11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. His funeral service will follow at 11 am on Monday. Interment will follow the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Murph's name to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
