Wayne M Gotta

Wayne M. Gotta of Maple Shade passed away suddenly on September 29, 2017. Loving husband of Patricia (nee Amendolia), devoted father to Peter. Also survived by daughter Danette and granddaughter Alexis. Wayne is pre deceased by his parents, Donald and Delia Gotta and brothers Donald and Raymond. Wayne also leaves sisters-in-law Ursula Vermillion and husband Richard, and Theresa Amendolia. He will be missed by his loving aunt, Louise Cavaliere and many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. He was born in Burlington and was a resident of Maple Shade. Wayne was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving as a plank owner on the destroyer USS Sampson D D G 10. He attended many reunions and treasured his lasting friendships with his shipmates. Wayne was employed at Aramsco in Thorofare where he enjoyed many friends and coworkers he often called his second family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Wayne's life on October 21st at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Visitation will begin at 10:00 followed by a prayer service at 11:00 where all will be invited to share their memories of Wayne.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Arthritis Foundation, New Jersey Chapter, 555 Rt.1 South, Suite 220, Iselin, NJ 08830
