Theresa A. Troso

Theresa A. Troso (nee Preto) of Maple Shade passed away suddenly on Sunday August 23, 2020. She was 75 years of age. Born on July 3, 1945 in Philadelphia, she resided in Maple Shade for 60 years. Theresa was a loyal parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Theresa was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking and was known for her pizzelles and potato salad. She made lavish cakes and costumes for her children and enjoyed Disney World, family camping trips, the casinos, dogs and relaxing outside. She was a former volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America, Meals on Wheels and was a team mother for Maple Shade Little League but her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family and watching her grandkids play.

Beloved wife of 54 years to Frank A. Troso, loving mother of Frank Troso Jr., Christine Troso and Michael (Joann) Troso, dear sister of Marie (Stephen) Kubiak, Diana (Robert) Hunter, Vincent (Lorry) Preto, Richard (Maria) Preto and Kenneth Preto, cherished grandmother of Drew, Sophia, Holden, step-grandmother to Gabriel and Ava-Marie, Theresa will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Monday, August 31st, 2020, 6-9 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1st, 11 am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Social distancing will be in place, facial coverings will be required at the funeral home and the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Theresa’s name to the American Diabetes Association, @www.diabetes.org or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at the address above.
