Rosa P. Cruz

Rosa P. Cruz age 91 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Rosa was born on January 31, 1933 in Juncos, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Brigida Placeres. She had resided in Philadelphia before moving to Maple Shade for many years and then to Southampton 3 years ago. Rosa had a deep and caring love for all of her family and will be very greatly missed by all.
 
Beloved wife of the late Nicolas Cruz, Sr., loving mother of Alicia (John, Sr.) Kij, Rose M. (Paul, Sr.) Awrachow and Nicolas, Jr. (Lucille) Cruz, cherished grandmother of Angela Galson, Paul Awrachow, Jr., Barbara Kij, Diane Coppola, Denise Awrachow and John Kij, Jr., adoring great grandmother of 14 and dear great great grandmother of 1, dear sister of Juan (Lydia) Placeres, Angel Luis Placeres and the late Lydia DeJesus, Rosa also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Rosa's life on Sunday February 18th, 2024, 2 PM-6 PM at Lakou Events, 2901 Marne Hwy., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
