Bobbi was born and raised in Maple Shade. In 1960, she married the love of her life, Joe, and dedicated her life to raising her children. She created a loving home for her family, and during Joe’s time in the service, they lived in Würzburg (Germany), Camp Hartell (Connecticut), Frankfurt (Germany), Fort Monmouth (New Jersey), Fort Gordon (Georgia), Hanau (Germany), Fort Dix (New Jersey), back to Hanau (Germany) and back to Fort Dix where they retired. All the time the family was able to experience many wonderful opportunities. In Frankfurt, Bobbi held a civil service position performing key punch data entry duties at IG Farben. At Fort Monmouth, she held a civilian job working for a newspaper in distribution. In Hanau, during the first deployment, Bobbi oversaw one mess hall. Bobbi’s life was grounded in her church, her religion, and her unwavering faith. She was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Columbiettes Auxiliary #5714. As the oldest of 18, she shared tremendous love and kindness. Lending a helping hand wherever she was able. Bobbi made every person feel loved and cherished. She had a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor, and a love for all. She crocheted baby blankets for all of the “new” members of the family, which became one of her signature trademarks. You knew you were loved by her if you ever received one of her signature homemade pumpkin breads – YUM! Above all, she deeply loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren constantly telling them, “I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.”
