Robert W. Thompson

Robert W. Thompson of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 9, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years of age. He was born in Philadelphia on August 3, 1947 to the late William and Mae Thompson, and was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade. Bob served his country in the US Army from 1966-1968. He was retired from the commercial banking Industry. Bob was an inspirational Little League Coach and dedicated walker. He enjoyed shooting darts, and was an avid Philadephia Eagles and Phillies fan. 

Beloved husband of 55 years to Eileen Thompson (nee Jaskolski), loving father of Jeffrey (Lili) Thompson, and David (Beth) Thompson, cherished grandfather of Zachary, Calvin, Maesie and Zoe, dear brother of the late William Thompson,Jr., brother-in-law of Carol Thompson, Daniel (Linda) Jaskolski, Karen (the late Michael) Kimbro, Claire (the late Anthony) Volpe, loving cousin of Carol Fricker, Bernie Johnson, Bill Thompson and the late John Thompson, Bob will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services for Bob will be held privately. Arrangements by the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Maple Shade.
