Robert C. Heckmann,Jr.

Robert C. Heckmann, Jr. of Bellmawr NJ passed away on Tuesday September 9, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born in Philadelphia on November 13, 1955 to the late Robert C., Sr. and Alice L. Heckmann. Bob grew up in Maple Shade and has resided in Bellmawr for the last 35 years. He was a self-employed house painter and hard worker dedicated to his craft. He enjoyed singing karaoke, bowling, fishing and dancing. Bob was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and loved to cheer them on. He was a very generous person with a big heart. Bob took great pleasure in his trips to Wawa where he was given their "Best Customer Award". Above all else, he dearly loved his family and enjoyed sharing stories from his life experiences.

Beloved husband to Eileen Heckmann (nee Hess), loving Dad to Amanda (Tom) Lane, and Amy (Don) Watts, cherished Pop-Pop of Thomas, John, A.J., Evan and Levi, dear brother of Dave (Jackie) Heckmann, Marty (Lisa) Heckmann, Alice (John) Reiser, Jim (Runa) Heckmann, John (Kris) Heckmann, Frank (Debbi) Heckmann and the late Daniel Heckmann. Bob will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation and gathering with his family on Saturday, September 13th, 11 AM - 1 PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. His funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Friends of Joey Reiser Foundation, 124 Lake George Drive, Collings Lakes, NJ 08094 in memory of Bob's nephew.
