Rita D. Zinar

Rita Dolores Zinar (nee Silvestrini) age 97 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born March 26, 1926 in Conshohocken, PA and had retired from JC Penny as one of the original employees from Cherry Hill. Rita was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Maple Shade since 1954, where she enjoyed volunteering as a CCD teacher. She always enjoyed cooking for her family, social dancing, and the occasional Manhattan. Preceeded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Angelo Silvestrini; her sister, Edie D’orazio; and her four year old son, Johnny Zinar; she is survived by four loving children, Rita Miloshevsky (Bob), Louis J. Zinar (Glenda), Mary Lynn Zinar Lowery (Chris), Raymond J. Zinar (Lori); a dear brother, Remo Silvestrini (Vera); six caring grandchildren, Gina Miloshevsky Labash (Paul), Bobby Milo (Sandra), Clint Lowery, Brooke Lowery Day (Cam), Griffin Zinar, Noah Zinar; four cherished great-grandchildren, Madison Labash, Jordan Labash, Evelina Day, and Brody Day. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, November 4th from 10 am to 11 am at the Mark C. Tilghman Funeral Home, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
