Philomenia "Phyllis" L. Damato

Philomenia "Phyllis" L. Damato of Pennsauken passed away on Thursday November 16, 2023. She was 77 years old. Born in Camden on December 30, 1945, she resided in Maple Shade before moving to Pennsauken. Phyllis’ greatest joy was the role of mother and grandmother, homemaker and spending time with her family. She will fondly be remembered for raising her children with a solid foundation of being contributary members of society and her cooking talents.

Daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Damato, sister of the late Rocco, Michael and Cecilia Damato, Phyllis is survived by her loving sons John (Sharon Billetdoux), and Derek (Kathy) Billetdoux, her cherished grandchildren Braden, Audrey and Madeleine, she will also be dearly missed by her brother Anthony (Sandra) Damato, sister Rosemarie (William) Silcox, brother Joseph (Denise) Damato, sister Maryann (Henry Smith) Davis, and sister Theresa Damato, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday, November 25th 9-11 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society @cancer.org or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital @stjude.org
