Patricia E. Creighton AKA Tuffymoore

To know Tuffymoore was to understand that tough was an understatement. She was resilient, hardworking, and never one to back down from anything life threw her way. She gave everything she had to the people she loved, especially her family. Tuffymoore had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation, but she also wouldn’t take any nonsense from anyone. She stood her ground, spoke her mind, and earned the respect of everyone who knew her. For 34 years, Tuffymoore worked as a bartender at the Empty Glass Café, where she became more than just a familiar face, she was part of the heart and soul of the place. A true hustler, she worked tirelessly, even picking up Sundays “for the Irish,” never afraid of hard work. Her honey-glazed ham and meatballs were unmatched and brought people together time and time again.

She was a devoted mother who raised four children with love, grit, and determination. She made sure they had not only what they needed, but memories that would last a lifetime. Especially their cherished trips to Wildwood and the mountain house, and North Dakota. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, who meant the absolute world to her. She would do anything for them, always showing up, always giving, always loving. To them, she wasn’t just a grandmom, she was the best person in their lives.

Patricia is predeceased by her husbands Donald Creighton and Pasquale Ludovico, her children Mary Ludovico, Vincent Ludovico and Dorothy Ludovico. She is survived by her daughter Patti (John) Baranowski, Charles (Lisa) Ludovico, her grandchildren Carrie (Carlos) Ozuna, Francis (Tatyana) Burke, Patti (Mike) Moibus, Marcus Ludovico, and her great-grandchildren Ryan, Gabriella and Mikey, along with many extended relatives and friends.
