Michael S. Walters

Michael S. Walters passed away suddenly on May 23 2023. He was born on December 10, 1961, predeceased by his parents James Walters Jr. and Dorothy Walters, his sister Karen (Walters) Lynch, his brother Craig Walters, his son Shaun Walters and cousin Dan Walters. Michael is survived by his loving Fiance, Joan Echevarria of Millville, his aunt Dorothy Walters of Maple Shade, cousins John Walters (Donna), Diane Bittner (George), Cheryl Racz (John), Joe Walters (Kim) and nephews Jason Moritz and Christopher Lynch.

Michael was so loved by so many, band/friends Kim, Rob & Nick and many more. He worked at Boca Recovery Center and helped and saved so many people through addiction. He was an absolutely phenomenal musician, and wrote and sang his own music. He  received many certificates and awards in his music career. Michael studied music his entire life and was accepted at two elite musical schools in his younger years. He began by singing lead roles in school plays. He then joined the school band playing clarinet and later tenor saxophone and was voted most talented. He was a member of the Uptown String Band (the Mummers). He also studied guitar, vocals, music theory, and composition at Neur Pauer Conservatory of music. Michael ran the Club Circuit in the mid 80's, too many bands to list but a few were Visions and Trance and was currently playing with Kindling and of course "Natural Disaster". Michael was a treat to any rock act.
