Marietta Higgenbothem, 67, of Cinnaminson, New Jersey passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, with her loving husband and family by her side.

Marietta was born November 17, 1957 to (the late) John and Lily (Carita) Schultz in Camden, New Jersey. Marietta lived most of her years in Moorestown, New Jersey, before moving to Cinnaminson with her husband Bill, where they built their life together. Marietta graduated from Moorestown High School and Gordon Philips Beauty School. Marietta dedicated many years of her career as a hair dresser, where she not only styled hair, but also nurtured many friendships in her community. She was a true artist known for her creative flair. While Marietta loved all her clients, some of her favorites included several of the players from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Marietta is survived by her beloved husband, Bill of 27 years, her fur babies; Angel, Bella, Alley, Bitsy; and her mother-in-law, Veronica (Piotrowski) Higgenbothem.

She is also survived by her sister-in-laws; Helene(late John) Schultz, Shelly (Earl) Errickson, Theresa (Donald) Franklin, and Tracy Higgenbothem.

As well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, whom she adored.

Marietta was pre deceased by her parents John and Lily (Carita)Schultz, her brother John Schultz, and her father-in-law William Higgenbothem.

Marietta lived life with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She loved deeply and laughed loudly. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she will forever be remembered for her strength, her humor, and her spirit. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace.

In Keeping with Marietta’s wishes, there will be no public service.

In lieu of flowers her family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter of your choice, in memory of Marietta Higgenbothem.
