Marie V. Hoch

Marie V. Hoch (nee Pokorski-Hagmaier) ( February 16, 1939 – July 12, 2018 )   Marie V. Hoch age 79 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camden, NJ, she was a 60 year resident of Maple Shade. Marie devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother to her family. She supported her husband Arthur throughout his working career and his volunteer community involvement. Marie was a Den Mother with Cub Scout Pack 11 and then went on to support her son Jeffrey and husband Arthur in Boy Scout Troop 11. Marie was President of the Band Booster Association while her daughter Karen was in the Maple Shade High School Band.   Daughter of the late William Sr. and Marie Hagmaier, sister of Trudy Kassekert and the late William Hagmaier Jr, beloved wife of the late Arthur Hoch, loving mother of Jeffrey (Karen) Hoch, Karen (Robert, Sr) Collins, cherished grandmother of Michelle Lynn Daoust, Robert, Jr (Alicia)Collins and David (Andrea) Collins, proud great grandmother of Paige, Ava, Chase, Braden, Bryson. Marie is survived by her sister in laws Carolyn (Carl) Oattes, Linda Robinson (William Bruce), Sandra Hoch and many nieces and nephews.   Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Wednesday evening 7-9 pm and Thursday 8:30 am - 9:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Funeral service will be held on Thursday 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the NJ Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marie's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Ste 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
