Marguerite L. Hull (née Raeder)went home to the Lord on October 3, 2025. Marguerite was most recently a resident of Kissimmee, Florida, where she cherished her retirement years surrounded by sunshine, friends, and family. Prior to that, she was a longtime resident of Maple Shade, New Jersey, where she built many lasting friendships and memories.

Marguerite was born on August 28, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Richard H. Raeder and Evelyn Pokorny Raeder Maxwell. The eldest of five siblings, she grew up in Philadelphia, where she spent most of her childhood. She later attended Chestnut Hill University, setting the foundation for a lifelong commitment to education and faith.Following her graduation, Marguerite pursued a meaningful and successful career in teaching, dedicating her life to nurturing young minds in Catholic schools. Her devotion to her faith and her students shone through in every lesson she taught. Over the years, she shared her passion for learning at several schools, including St. Matthew’s in Philadelphia, PA, Holy Name in Fishtown, PA, St. Athansius in Logan, PA, Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) in Maple Shade, St. Stephen's in Pennsauken, and Holy Name in Camden, NJ, where she concluded her teaching career. Marguerite built unforgettable relationships with countless students and colleagues, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and inspiration.

After retiring from teaching, Marguerite took up the hobby of crocheting, where she created beautiful blankets and other handcrafted items. She was a proud participant in the St. Pius X Christmas Bazaar and other local craft shows throughout the years. Whenever you stopped by to visit, you could always find her in her chair with an episode of JAG or NCIS on the TV, working on her next masterpiece.

Marguerite will be remembered for her deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and her gentle, generous spirit. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she inspired through her teaching, her faith, and her love.

Beloved wife of 49 years to John D. Hull, loving mother of Mary Katherine (William) Smallenburg, John, Jr. (Mary) Hull, Maureen (Robert) Lenox, Annamarie (Jared) Zaum, the late Richard (Sally) Hull and the late Joseph (Joie) Hull, cherished sister of Linda Raeder, Audrey (the late Ben) Raeder - Blake, the late Michael Raeder, and the late Kathleen (the late A.W.) Gibbs, adoring grandmother of Grace, William,Jr., Rylan, Richard (Aubrieanna), Nathan, Carter, Dominic, Callen, Austin, Emma, John III, the late Nolan, Lillian, Regina, Declan, Logan and Bryson.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday, November 22nd, 10-11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 300 E. Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. Arrangements by the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERL HOME, Maple Shade.
