Margaret Johanna Toth a lifelong resident of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025 at the age of 100. She was very involved in the community her entire life having been a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Independent Fire Co. #1, Life member of Burlington County Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary and Life member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret was a devoted and active parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and a member of it's Altar Rosary Society and the Columbiettes Auxiliary #5714, as well as volunteering as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of Silver Moon Council #11, D of P. Margaret was nominated and awarded Maple Shade Citizen of The Year 2015. Her compassion and devotion to her hometown will be greatly missed.
Beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Johanna Toth, loving sister of the late Stephen and William Toth, dear aunt of the late Billy Toth, the late Frank Toth (Roberta), grand nephews Frank E. Toth (Susan), John Toth, grand niece Deby Carter (Jeff), great grand nieces Kristin and Meghan Toth, Kaitlyn Noller (Bill), Alyssa Sheridan (Michael), great grand nephews Michael Carter (Jamie) and WIlliam and Edward Toth, Margaret also leaves behind 5 great great grand nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday July 26th, 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to any animal rescue of the donors choice.
