Jorge L. Duran of Camden, NJ passed away on Sunday October 5, 2025 at the age of 81. He was born in Puerto Rico to the late Ermelindo and Herminia Duran. Jorge resided in Camden most of his life, then enjoyed retirement in Lehigh Acres, Fl. before returning to New Jersey. Jorge proudly served in the US Army from 1964-1968, then worked for many years at RMP before retiring from Holman Enterprises. In his spare time Jorge was an avid reader and loved playing dominoes as well as tinkering with cars and other machinery. His greatest pleasure was the time he spent with his family.
Beloved husband of the late Ana Duran, who passed away in 2023, loving father of Luis (Judy) Duran of Maple Shade, and the late Michael (Gina) Duran, cherished grandfather of Danielle, Brandon (Lauren), Damian, Angelique (Jose) Henriques, Deanna, and Jacqueline (James) Duran-Copsetta, his first great- grandson is on the way. Dear brother of Herman (Maria) Duran of Camden and Carmen (Eddie) Seguinot of North Carolina, he will also be a greatly missed brother-in-law and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday evening, October 9th 6-9 PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade and Friday morning 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in Jorge's name.
