John Thiel

John Thiel of Maple Shade passed away on Thursday November 6, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born in Camden on May 27, 1943 to the late Francis and Virginia Thiel, and remained a lifelong area resident. John was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Maple Shade. He had a love for art, drawing and spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Mildred Thiel (nee Stephany), loving father of Darlene Gagliardi and Tammy (Paul) Brosman, dear brother of Virginia Bogsch, Dave Thiel and the late Francis Thiel, cherished grandfather of Michael Gagliardi, Jessica Gagliardi, the late Stephanie Gagliardi, Katie (Cullen) McClintock and Brianna Brosman, adoring great grandfather of Lacey, Conner, Mallory, Grace, McKenna and Sophia, he will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for John will be private. Arrangements by the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Maple Shade.
