John B. McConville

John (Jack) B. McConville of Maple Shade passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly on Sunday May 18, 2025 at the age of 81. He was born in Philadelphia on May 21, 1943 and resided in Maple Shade for the last 55 years. Jack retired from Old Dominion Freight Line in Pennsauken where he worked as a truck driver. Jack was a longtime member of the Farragut Sportsmen's Association and The Delaware River Yachtman's League. His proudest moments were when his family joined him at the many events held at the Farragut and annual DRYL banquet.

John is survived by his former wife Marylee McConville (nee Haugh), his loving children, Christine (Michael) Newman, Leatrice (Ben) Anderson, Michael McConville, Daniel McConville and father of the late John McConville, dear brother of the late Gordon McConville, his cherished grandchildren Alexandra, Michael, Raven, Benedict and Reagan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday May 22nd 11 AM-12 Noon at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. His funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport, NJ.
