Jason J. Kent age 42 of Paterson, NJ passed away on October 10, 2018. Born in Marlton, he was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade. Jason proudly served his country in the US Navy and worked as a pipe fitter for Union Local #13 in Winslow. He enjoyed sports, having played football at Maple Shade high school, played for the Maple Shade Wildcats, and also played Babe Ruth baseball in Maple Shade.Dear brother of Joy (Joseph) Kornsey, beloved nephew of Robert (Tina) Payne, who raised him, loving grandson of Sarah D’Agastino, his birth parents John Kent and Marylu Gaylor, also survived by many other blended family members and friends.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 16th, 8 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family, Tuesday evening, 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In honor of Jason’s love of football, Memorial contributions may be made to the Maple Shade Wildcats Touchdown Club, C/O Columbia Bank, 253 E. Main St., Maple SHade, NJ 08052.
