Jamie Dru Gardner

Jamie Dru Gardner (née Seidman), 65, of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born on September 17, 1958, to the late David Seidman and Elayne (Seidman) Levin. Jamie lived a life full of love and joy. She dedicated her professional time as a legal assistant/secretary in Cherry Hill for over 20 years. Her greatest fulfillment though, came from her roles within her family. Jamie's greatest ambition was to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, a goal she surpassed with grace and unwavering dedication. Jamie was a woman who truly loved life— she treasured time spent at the beach, attending concerts, and being with her loved ones. Her warm-hearted demeanor, passionate spirit and infectious smile made her truly one in a million.

Jamie was the beloved wife of William Gardner, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years. She was the devoted mother of Drew Gardner (Mariane) and Remy Gardner (Claron Johnson), and the cherished grandmother of Micah, Mira, and Cory Elayne. Jamie was the adored sister of Marjorie Seidman and the late Stephen "Bix" Seidman. Jamie also shared a “real life” fairytale, by becoming the sister to her best friend of over 50 years, Mindy Fradkin. Jamie's memory will be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were touched by her compassion, kindness, and love.

A celebration of life for Jamie will take place at Laurel Acres Park in Mount Laurel, NJ on Thursday September 5th, 2024 beginning at 6pm with a loving send-off at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions in Jamie’s memory to the American Heart Association at Heart.org.
