James T. Amante

James T. Amante of Maple Shade passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 12, 2025 at the age of 59. Jim was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 7, 1965 to the late Peter and Kathleen Amante and was formerly of Pine Hill before moving to Maple Shade 26 years ago. Jim was employed at Lowe’s in Maple Shade and enjoyed painting and gardening.

Beloved husband of 3 years to Gavin Schiffert, dear brother of Paul Amante, Linda Thompson and the late Peter Amante.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Thursday July 17th, 6-7 PM at the MARK C.TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
