Francis “Babe” S. Jaskowiak

Francis S. “Babe”  Jaskowiak of Cherry Hill passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 7, 2019. He was 94 years old. Babe was born on November 11, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Cherry Hill 28 years ago. He was a US Navy Veteran, proudly serving his country during World War II, and a retired Iron Worker. Babe was a longtime, devout parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, also distributing communion to various area nursing homes. He was a devoted member of the Men of Malvern, and the Missionary Cenacle, Missionary Servant of The Most Blessed Trinity. Babe was an enthusiastic baseball player during his younger years. Beloved and devoted husband of Jane Jaskowiak (nee Schimpf), loving father of Jane (the late Neil) Jaskowiak, Jeanne (the late Michael) Townes, Anne Jaskowiak and John (Jennifer) Jaskowiak, cherished and proud grandfather of 4 and dear great grandfather of 4. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Monday, April 15th, 10-11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 236 East Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Burial will be private.
