Florence "Sam" Gaylord

Florence Gaylord, affectionately known as "Sam"  of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, July 31, 2017. She was 65 years old. Born in Camden, she was a lifelong area resident. Sam was a self-employed exterminator who enjoyed spending time with her family, chatting with her many customers and watching movies with her grandsons. Sam also had a passion for the casinos, playing poker and playing Rummikub on Saturday evenings. She will be remembered for her profound kindness of heart and abundant generosity to many.   Loving mother of Trena Jones, cherished grandmother of Samuel and Tristan, also survived by many dear friends and very loyal customers.   Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday evening,  August 9th, 6-8pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N.Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade,NJ. Memorial service will follow the visitation at 8pm.Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
