Elizabeth A. Porter

Elizabeth A. Porter, 87, of Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 4, 2025.

Born August 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Casteel) Hall. Elizabeth was a graduate of West Virginia University, a registered dietician, 3rd grade teacher and devoted mother and wife. She was a member of Phi Beta Phi Sorority, Daughter’s of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, and The Community Church of Vero Beach.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband William of 63 years; daughters Alice Porter (Tom Oddo), Teppe Popovich, MD (Sally), Ellen (Joe) Videtta, Lorri Hagwood, Nancy (Mike) Gard and son Jim Porter (Adriana), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and young daughter Amy Elizabeth Porter.

A graveside service was held on Thursday April 10, 2025, at Lakeview Memorial in Cinnaminson, New Jersey with Pastor Vince McDonald officiating. A private memorial celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held at her home on Mother’s Day.
