Edward A. Luiso of Moorestown passed away peacefully on Sunday November 10, 2024 at the age of 77. He was born in Philadelphia on September 25, 1947 to the late Carl and Elizabeth Luise, and resided in Pennsauken before moving to Moorestown 27 years ago. Ed was self-employed and thrived on the challenges of running his own business. For most of his professional career Ed was active in the printing equipment industry. He enjoyed and was an avid traveler, with a particular love for Ireland as well as Irish music. Ed was also a sports enthusiast and he took pleasure in attending his granddaughters sporting events. Ed's greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.
Beloved longtime partner of Kathleen McGurk (nee Bakley), loving father of Christopher Luise (the late Joanna), Cynthia Roth and Colleen (Robert) Vallen, cherished grandfather of Taylor Luise, Morgan Luise, Shea Vallen and Samantha Vallen (Matt), dear brother of Gian (Sandra) Luiso, Joseph (Maryanne) Luiso, Carole (the late Stanley) Nichols, Anthony (Jamie) Luise, and brother of the late Carlo Luiso, Angelina Palma, and William Luiso, Ed will also be missed by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Monday evening November 18th, 6-8 PM and Tuesday morning 9:30-10:30 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 19th, 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be m ade to Tunnel to Towers Foundation @T2T.org or the Parkinson's Foundation @parkinson.org
