Carl G. Michel

Carl G. Michel of Mt Laurel passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 25, 2019. Born on April 11, 1939 in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong area resident. Carl owned and operated the German Kitchen in Maple Shade, Michel's Kitchen in Moorestown and Michel's Hometown Cafe in Palmyra. He enjoyed cooking and golfing. Beloved husband of Susan Michel (nee Beecher), dear father of Nancy Michel, Terry Moore, Linda Michel, and Jason (Susan) Richards, loving brother of Richard (Catherine) Michel, devoted grandfather of Joshua, David, Megan and Ashlyn, brother of the late Joseph, also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Carl will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019, 12 PM, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 S. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
