In Loving Memory of Bienvenido Guzman Bartolome (February 15, 1940 - August 13, 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bienvenido Guzman Bartolome, fondly known as "Papa" to his family and friends. Born on February 15, 1940, in Makati, Philippines, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a remarkable passion for craftsmanship and hands-on construction work.

Papa was a dedicated father to his children, Linda, Julie, Mari, Bernard, Bienvenido, Nicholas, Kristen, Ashley, Lainie, William, Amanda, Nathan, and Madelaine and grandchildren Gabriella, Leilanie, Thomas, Maria, Michael, Anna, Zachary, Bella, and Arya. Papa loved  and cherished his wife, Georgette, unconditionally. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his love for them knew no bounds. He shared his warmth, wisdom, and joyful spirit with each one of them, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

His remarkable skills in craftsmanship and construction were matched only by his infectious sense of humor. Papa's funny dance moves and charismatic presence had the power to light up any room and bring smiles to the faces of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His zest for life was truly contagious.

An ardent Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, Papa's enthusiasm for sports brought him joy and camaraderie with fellow fans. His loyalty to his teams was a testament to his dedication and passion in all aspects of his life. Papa loved the casino and shared in those experiences with all of us. His generosity and spirit of fun will be treasured in those moments with him.

As we bid farewell to Papa, let us remember the laughter he brought, the love he shared, and the memories he created. His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts, a reminder to live life with the same enthusiasm, love, and joy that he exuded every day.

Rest in peace, dear Papa. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Saturday, August 19th, 9-10:30 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
