Listen to Obituary

Bunny was born and raised in Evesham Township and graduated from Moorestown High School, class of ’48. She met and married a handsome boy just back from the service. Bunny and the late Ed settled in Maple Shade in 1951 where she raised her family. Her neighbors were far more than people who lived around her; they were family. She worked as a teacher’s aide at the Steinhauer school where the kids knew her as Ms. Bunny. But she found her real calling in life as a grandmother: Mom Mom Bunny loved her grands. Her earlier years found her having fun with her sisters and a stray cat couldn’t have stumbled on a better home.

She was the wife of the late Edward; mother of Betty (Ted) Dorn and Mary (Richard) DiDonato; grandmother of Melissa, Heather, Danielle and Gabrielle; and great-grandmother of Kailey, Jack, John, Maddie, Emma, Mia, and Lainey. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Come celebrate 95 great years Thursday May 14, 2026, 10-10:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 East Main Street, Maple Shade where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment: New St. Mary Cemetery, Bellmawr. Arrangements by Mark Tilghman Funeral Home, Maple Shade. In lieu of flowers please give generously to your favorite animal charity.
