Barbara J. McEwen

Barbara J. (nee Heal) McEwen, age 84, of Maple Shade, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday September 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mt. Holly on August 29, 1940 to the late John Wesley and Mabel Heal. Barbara was a lifetime Maple Shade resident, an avid sports fan, and she especially enjoyed watching the Phillies.

Loving mother of Michael (Debbie) McEwen, Barbara (Paul) Booth, and Wayne (Carole) McEwen. Cherished grandmother of Ashlee McEwen, John Booth, Jimmy Booth, Lauren Booth, Kristin Booth, Jay States, and Emily McEwen. Dear aunt of Bridget Heal-Bergson (Michael). Sister of the late John “Happy Jack” Heal. Predeceased by her step-mother Helena Dare-Heal.

Funeral services for Barbara will be private. Arrangements under the direction of MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Maple Shade.
