Alice M. Dix

Alice M. Dix (nee Shontz) of Deptford, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 95 years old. Alice was born on February 19, 1927 in Birmingham, NJ and was a longtime resident of Maple Shade before moving to Deptford in 2005. She retired after 25 years with Sprint Electronics in Moorestown. Alice was a member of the Maple Shade Congregational Church, where she taught Sunday School and was active in Women's Fellowship and the Crafty Ladies Group with the church. She enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Harold Dix, who passed away in 2014, loving mother of the late Harold E. Dix who passed away in 2021, she is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Robert Cusano of Deptford, dear mother-in-law of Nancy Dix of Maple Shade, cherished grandmother of Stacey Dix, Shelby (Paul) Naso, Allison (Darren) Smith and Darren (Lynda) Cusano, adoring great grandmother of Kayla Smith and Brynn Cusano, Alice is also survived by her dear caregiver Tammy.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with family on Friday, August 5th, 10-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her funeral service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
