Aggie was a wonderful lady, always pleasant to be around and rarely made an unpleasant word. She spoke her mind but she was always cordial and kind to others. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh; she always had a warm smile. Most days found her sitting in her favorite chair devouring book after book that she would get and trade with her sisters Patty and Kathy, and sister-in-law Bonnie. In prior years she loved taking day trips with her senior group seeing different theatre and musical events, plays and shows.
Aggie worked for the Sears catalog department, then spent a career of almost twenty years as a Nurse's Aide and Ward Clerk at Medford Leas. Afterwards Aggie worked for many years in insurance processing.
She found her real calling as a mom to her son Wayne Jr., always giving the loving hug and words of encouragement.
She was raised in Marlton, lived in Moorestown and retired to Tabernacle.
She was the wife of the late Wayne Sr., 58 years of marriage; the mother of Wayne Jr.; the sister of Jimmy (Bonnie) McMullen, Kathy (Jim) Feeley, Patti Rodi and Margie Assenheimer; and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Come celebrate 85 great years Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Mark Tilghman's Funeral Home, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade.
