James A. Henwood

James A. Henwood of Maple Shade passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 28, 2017. He was 77 years old. Beloved husband of Patricia Johnston, dear father of 8, loving brother of Mary Moseley, Joseph Henwood, Kathleen Giammusso, Michael Henwood, and Colette O'Connor, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, also many cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends. Born in Camden, he was a lifelong area resident. Jim retired from Local #19 Sheet Metal Workers Union, and proudly served his country in the US Marines from 1960-64 during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the Maple Shade VFW Post #2445. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, February 1st, 7-9 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Funeral service to follow at 9 pm. Interment will be on Thursday, February 2nd, 11 am in NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
