Marie A. Thomas

Marie A. Thomas (nee Hainley) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 25, 2015. She was 90 years old. Born in Riverside, she was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade. She retired after 27 years with KSM in Moorestown. Marie was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Armistice Chapter #169 O.E.S. Maple Shade and past Worthy Matron, Deborah Hospital- Maple Shade Chapter, the Crafty Ladies, and Meals on Wheels. Marie stayed very active and did an abundance of volunteer work during her lifetime. Beloved wife of the late Banner (Ben) Thomas, devoted sister of the late Betty Thoroughgood and Arthur Hainley, cherished aunt of Joyce Zimmerman, special great aunt of Christopher (Kristin) Zimmerman, Jessica (Michael) Tosti, and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Tuesday , September 29th 9-10:45 am, Eastern Star service will begin at 10:45 am, at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd, Maple Shade. Marie's funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment in Beverly National Cemetery will be private.
