John D. Truempy, Sr.

John D. Truempy, Sr age 87 of Maple Shade passed away on May 30, 2015. Born in Camden, he was a resident of Maple Shade for many years. John retired as a truck driver for Teamster Local 676, and was a former member, deacon and trustee of Highland Baptist Church in Pennsauken. Beloved husband of Dorothy Truempy (nee Brown), loving father of Dorothy (Dr.William) Silverman, Dana (David) Gaffney and John D, Jr (Bridgette) Truempy, dear grandfather of Jennifer, Susan, Brian, Steven, Corey, Megan, Monica, Meredith, Brittney, T.J., brother of Florence Leonard. Graveside service will be held Wednesday June 3, 11 am, Locustwood Memorial Park, Rt 70, Cherry Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assoc, 55 W.
