Dorothy M. Black

Dorothy M. Black age 102 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on March 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Maple Shade for 76 years. Dorothy was a seamstress for Kushners Decorating in Maple Shade. She was a longtime member of Rosedale Baptist Church in Camden, and a member of Faith Independent Bible Church of Pennsauken, NJ. She enjoyed vacationing for over 30 years in North Fort Meyers, Florida. Beloved wife of the late Jennings J. Black, loving mother of Dorothy E. Wilson (the late John F. Jr.), Carol Dilks (the late Harold), Jennings, Jr. (Carole) Black, Jean (Gerald) Holloway and John (Jean) Black, dear grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 42, and great great grandmother of 2. A memorial service for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday March 25th, 11:30 am at Faith Independent Bible Church, 7651 Rogers Ave., Pennsauken, NJ.
