Michael J. Volpe, Jr. age 66 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Dear son of the late Michael, Sr. and Catherine Volpe, beloved husband of Arlene Volpe (nee Voiro), loving father of Michael III (Lisa) Volpe, Marco (Brandis) Volpe, and Ashley Volpe, devoted brother of Catherine Volpe, Anthony (Claire) Volpe, cherished grandfather of Devon, Connor, Brittney, Nicholas, Gauge, Brielle, Dominic, Dante and Jackson, Special Uncle of Tony, Eddie (Stefanie) Volpe, Great Uncle of Shauna and Isabelle Volpe. Born in Mt. Holly, Mike was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade. Mike was a retired carpenter with Union Local #150. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, a member of NA and a proud member of AA for 31 years. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Saturday, March 21st 10 am -12 noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St, Maple Shade. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mike's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
